Thoughts on Seneca Chief

Seneca Chief heads to Lingfield today where he lines up at 12.50pm, Dylan Hogan takes the ride.

Seneca Chief has a bit to prove at present. In particular he needs to be better at the start and he is yet to convince he really gets home over six furlong. That said, this is an easy six and he is drawn well.

A fairly open looking contest, with Justcallmepete looking the most obvious danger if the first time blinkers spark just a small return towards his best. Porfin and The Princes Poet are others who shouldn’t be too far away. Swiss Pride’s course and distance form makes him of interest dropped to this level after some lesser efforts, but he does have the worst of the draw.
