Thoughts on Shamiana tomorrow

Shamiana runs in the 3.40 at Southwell tomorrow (Tuesday 4th of March). Joe Fanning rides in the seven furlong handicap. Shamiana has been six weeks away from the track as there hasn’t been a good opportunity for her since her last run at Southwell so we have aimed her a this for a while. She seems very well in herself and has been working consistently since that last run. She seemed to be happier without the headgear on her most recent start so we have once again left it off.

The race is pretty open with most of the runners having a bit to prove. Sleet looks the most likely winner based on recent form but he is still a maiden  and has had quite a few runs now.

Shamiana enthusiastically charges up the short gallop on Mandown.
