Thoughts on Silently

Silently runs in the 5.00 this afternoon at Thirsk. Tom Queally rides in the five furlong maiden. It's been a fair while since she first made her debut at the backend of last season so hopefully she remembers what she learned that day when she showed a bit of promise. Ideally she probably wants slightly quicker ground but options are limited at this time of year and she needs to get some racing into her.

Jabarockie sets the standard here with a decent amount of experience here but is probably vulnerable to the less exposed horses. The interesting horse is Creek Walk who ran over six furlongs with some promise before being stepped up to nine furlongs and is now dropped back to five furlongs. Canford Bay showed enough on his second start and stable debut that he has to enter calculations.
