Thoughts on Silhouette at Lingfield

Silhouette runs in the 8.40 at Lingfield this evening. Timmy Murphy rides in the mile and a quarter maiden. Silhouette was a little unlucky in running when fifth last time out at Windsor on his first start in a handicap and probably wants a slightly quicker surface than he ran on that day. He ought to stay the extra couple of furlongs but it is not certain.

The race looks an open event with a few on similar handicap marks looking to shed their maiden tags. The Major and Rain In The Face are both rated 74, whilst Pastoral Music has improved with each start and run to that sort of level. Hellavashock has run just twice so has bit less experience but has shown ability.
