Thoughts on Sognatore

Sognatore heads to Wolverhampton this evening for his second start in the 5.45. Adam McNamara is once again in the irons for the seven furlong novice race after the colt made an encouraging debut at Kempton last month. He faces a tough task from the widest draw this evening.

To The Bar looked impressive when winning well in a good time at Southwell a week ago. If he is able to translate that form across to the Tapeta he could be difficult to beat. Course and distance winner the Sedberghian is another who could well. Open Mystery ran well over six furlongs on debut when third and is open to further improvement for the extra furlong.

Sognatore is owned by Crowd Racing & Capture the Moment and was bought as a yearling by Daniel & Claire. He will be led up Ilse Belien this evening and overseen by travelling manager Shaun Johnson.
