Thoughts on Sognatore

Sognatore makes his debut for the yard at 3.00 at Kempton Park. Adam McNamara is in the irons for the seven furlong maiden stakes and the pair are drawn in stall 6. Like most of our runners we would expect Sognatore to learn plenty for the experience but he has done some nice bits of work at time and shows potential.

Sognatore takes on some well bred types, including expensive purchase Melody of Life, the filly Zajeel and George Peabody who all make their debuts today. However, the horse to beat looks to be the once raced Campeo who should plenty of potential on debut and has the advantage of experience.

The 2 year colt is by Vadamos, out of the Dalakhani mare, Of Course Darling. Sognatore was a €16k yearling purchase by Daniel & Claire at Tattersalls Ireland. Sognatore will be led up by yard manager, Lauren Webb who rides him at home. He races for Capture The Moment and Crowd Racing.
