Thoughts on Sonnentanz today
Sonnentanz makes her racecourse debut in the 5.40 at Wolverhampton this afternoon (Thursday 24th of March). Cathy Gannon will ride the filly in the mile and half a furlong maiden. Sonnentanz is a lightly framed filly who looks the type to stay further in time. She has done a reasonable amount of work at home but as ever with a debutant today is more about learning and handling the race day atmosphere for the first time.
Sonnentanz faces some useful looking rivals in Intermittant, placed second on her three starts to date, Flinty Fell placed on debut and Divine Joy who found only one to good on her second start. There are also a couple of interesting debutants that give this race the feel of a competitive contest in advance.
