Thoughts on Sunday’s Runners
Two runners on Sunday at Southwell, Bravo Zulu is first up in the 5.25pm contest where he will be ridden by Rossa Ryan. Followed by Andaleep in the 8.30pm who will be ridden by Callum Hutchinson.
BRAVO ZULU
Bravo Zulu won his maiden in good style at Kempton as a two year old. That was a valuable contest and the second horse has won since. We hope that he is a nice horse who can run in some of the better three year old handicaps. He has wintered well and is just ready to start out so that he has handicap mark for the turf season.
Bravo Zulu’s main rival looks to be fellow winner African Spirit who won comfortably on debut and ran a good race in a valuable EBF contest at York. The others are largely lightly raced and would need to step forward on what they’ve shown but are entitled to do so.
Bravo Zulu runs for the Capture The Moment syndicate and will be led up by Shannon Pasotti who cares for him daily at home.
ANDALEEP
Andaleep has been an absolute star since joining us. He has now winning 8 times including over course last time out under Callum. Callum gave him a well judged ride that day and Andaleep hung on well in the final strides.
This looks a slightly stronger race than the one which Andaleep won a fortnight ago. There’s not much between the likes of Onesmoothoperator, Noltons Cross, Haku and Queen of Ipanema. Artisan Dancer ran Andaleep very close the other day and is another danger. Sky Breeze put up a career best last time with a few of these in behind him. Although five hasn’t run a lot and has a generally progressive profile and might rate the biggest danger of all.
Andaleep runs in the colours of owner James Finch and will be led up by Shannon Pasotti who rides and cares for him daily at home.
