Thoughts on Tappity Tap
Tappity Tap runs today (7th March) in the 7.25 at Chelmsford. Kieran O’Neill rides the filly in the one mile two furlong Fillies’ Novice Stakes. Tappity Tap took a nice step forward from her debut last time out when staying on over nine and a half furlongs. She races over ten furlongs here which should suit. She ha to give away a stone and a half to the three year olds which adds to the challenge but she is a good sized filly.
Frizella has the best form amongst her rivals, they are all lightly raced and open to improvement particularly Kvetuschka who ran just once as a two year old over seven furlongs and is bred to appreciate the extra distance being closely related to St. Leger winner Kingston Hill.
Tappity Tap is is owned and was bred by Mr and Mrs Middlebrook and will be led up by Andy Williams who has done an excellent job developing her, riding her every day. He will be assisted by Travelling Manager Shaun Johnson.
