Thoughts on three runners at Lingfield

Flooded 6.10 – Lingfield, Jordan Uuys

A tricky character when he gets to the racecourse but hopefully now he has raced once he can put a poor debut behind him.

Solent Meads 6.10 – Lingfield, George Downing

Showed decent form as a two year old in alll weather maidens but so far has failed  fire this year on the turf. It may be that he is just an all weather horse but no obvious reason that should be the case.

The race is not a strong maiden and Peloton probably just about sets the standard, although one of the less likely lightly raced horses could easily go beyond that level. If able to match his all weather form Solent Meads would be in with a shout.

Mutineer 7.40 – Lingfield, Rob Hornby

Mutineer has had no luck in either of his runs this season so should show up better today. The field is big so a bit of luck will be required. He wants a decent surface so hopefully the good to soft in the going description will have gone by this evening.

A big field and the draw is always a factor on Lingdields straight track, the bid isnsually towards high numbers, which makes it tough for Gulland Rock who otherwise would have a massive chance in this race. BeePeeCee is slightly better drawn  and is running well. Whilst handicap debutante Never You Mind has a great draw and will find this easier than maidens.
