Thoughts on Tipsy Star today

Tipsy Star runs at 5:35 this evening (28th November) at Kempton. Rab Havlin takes the ride in the mile maiden. Tipsy Star has been green in her two races thus far and only hinted at the ability she has shown us at home. Some horses take longer than others to get the hang of racing but Steve Drowne who rode her last time felt she was starting to get the idea late on last time out. She travelled in snatches that day so hopefully she will travel better today. She ought to run more professionally and should put up a better showing today.

The race looks very open, a few of the runners having being placed in weak looking maidens when starting at big prices, making it quite hard to gauge how good they really are. A shock result wouldn’t be that much of a shock. Racing’s Dream run was in a decent race and he is from a stable whose runners normally improve a lot for their first run so he looks to be the type to win this race. Isabella Beeton is related to some decent horses and ran well on debut and is another to keep an eye on.
