Thoughts on today’s runners

Another busy day today with four runners. At Southwell we run Daltara at 1.30pm under Tom Eaves. Kieran Shoemark takes two rides for us, Southwold in the 2.05pm and then Solar Portrait at 3.50pm. We then head over to Kempton where Evening Story lines up at 7.30pm with James Doyle in the saddle.

Dalatara

Dalatara steps up slightly in trip and gets a tongue tie on, she’s probably a bit better than she’s shown so far and hopefully she starts to show something on the track.

Dalatara runs for owners Maureen Coxon & Partners and will be led up by Shannon Pasotti.

Southwold

Southwold had been pretty consistent until last time when he saw too much daylight and was free early on, he’s won over course and distance at this level.

Southwold runs in the colours of owners Gary & Lesley Middlebrook who also bred the gelding. He will be led up today by Epona Miller.

Solar Portrait

Solar Portrait is a work in progress and can hopefully take another step forward in what dosn’t look a deep contest at initial glance.

Solar Portrait runs for the Innovate Racing syndicate and will be led up by Shannon Pasotti.

Evening Story

Evening Story switches back into handicap company having won her Novice last time out. Course and distance should suit in an open race.

Evening Story runs in the colours of owner and breeders Gary and Lesley Middlebrook. She will be led up by James Pulley who cares for her daily at home.
