Thoughts on today’s runners

We send out two runners this evening to Kempton. Andaleep will race in the 7pm contest with Jack Mitchell in the saddle, followed by Fiscal Policy an hour later at 8pm with Richard Kingscote taking the ride.

Andaleep

Andaleep has been given a split mark which opened up the opportunity to run in this race and qualify for the valuable middle distance series final, which will be his end of season target after this race. The gelding does need to bounce back after a couple of disappointing efforts of late, but there were probably excuses on both occasions.

Andaleep

This looks wide open with several progressive three year olds going head to head. Nader King has kept good company and run well with exception of last time out, and any horse can be forgiven a lessor effort at Goodwood. Humanity has only had three starts and can keep progressing.

Andaleep runs in the colours of owner James Finch and will be led up by Shannon Pasotti who rides and cares for him daily at home.

Fiscal Policy

Fiscal Policy has been there or there abouts on most of his starts and steps up to seven for the first time. He has looked a few times like he would get this far depsite having won over five furlongs once this season, so were keen to see if he can find further improvement.

Fiscal Policy

This looks open, with perhaps the lightly raced Done Decision the most threatening with the potential for improvement stepped up in trip.

Fiscal Policy runs in the colours of owner and breeders Gary and Lesley Middlebrook and will be led up by Arla Cheshire.
