Thoughts on today’s runners

A busy Saturday ahead of us with four runners. Helm Rock heads to Champions Day at Ascot where he is set to run in the Balmoral Handicap at 4.25pm. It’s then over to Wolverhampton where we saddle two runners in the Novice at 7.30pm. Looklikewemadeit has her first run for the stable and will be ridden by Alistair Rawlinson whilst Siempre Arturo is making his first appearance on the track and will have Dylan Hogan in the saddle. Last but not least, Fiscal Policy lines up in the 8.30pm handicap under Jack Mitchell.

Helm Rock

Helm Rock has had a cracking season winning two big prizes, he’s in great form and deserves a crack at a big handicap like this. He struggles a bit on heavy ground at this sort of level however soft ground would be fine for him.

Helm Rock

Helm Rock runs for syndicate owners Capture The Moment VII and will be led up by James Pulley who cares for him daily at home.

Looklikewemadeit

This filly has not been with us for long and will qualify for a mark after this run. We are still learning about her and will hopefully learn more today.

Looklikewemadeit

Looklikewemadeit runs for owner Alun Douch and will be led up by Epona Miller.

Siempre Arturo

Siempre Arturo has done some nice bits of work at home but is likely to benefit more than most from his first day at the races, just the way he is. His half sister Glam Puss was a novice winner for us.

Siempre Arturo

Siempre Arturo runs for Viv O’Sullivan & Crowd Racing. He will be led up today by Shannon Pasotti.

Fiscal Policy

Fiscal Policy has won three races and has gone very close on a few other occasions in fourteen starts. He has been a bit slow away wearing Blinkers so we switch back to Cheekpieces today which should be a plus. He ran well on his first start over 7f when getting too far back.

Fiscal Policy

Fiscal Policy runs in the colours of owner and breeders Gary and Lesley Middlebrook and will be led up by Epona Miller.
