Thoughts on today’s runners

We send out two runners to Kempton this evening and hopeful of getting off the mark in 2024. Fiscal Policy is a non runer. Andaleep goes in the 7.30pm with Rossa Ryan in the saddle.

Fiscal Policy

NON-RUNNER

Fiscal Policy runs in the colours of owner and breeders Gary and Lesley Middlebrook. He will be led up by Arla Cheshire.

Andaleep

Andaleep was second in the valuable London Middle Distance Series Final and a repeat of that run should surely see him go very close from stall 1. Andaleep’s attempt at two miles in the interim, is a run ignored as he didn’t stay. We are hopeful that tonight is the night he breaks his all weather duck to add to his prolific turf record. 8 years young he seems on really good terms with himself at home.

Ocean Heights is lightly raced on the flat and got off the mark last time out. He would need to make further improvement to win here. Legacy Power was a very expensive yearling and entitled to progress now going handicapping. Liseo was close behind Andaleep in the London Series Final and is respected given he probably didn’t get the run of the race.

Andaleep runs for owner James Finch and will be led up today by Shannon Pasotti who rides and cares for him daily at home.
