Thoughts on today’s runners

Two runners today (Friday 12th October), the first to kick things off is Outrage. George Downing rides the gelding in the 5.35, 6 furlong handicap at York. Outrage bids to follow up his win on Tuesday under George. He will not run if the ground is softer than good. He seems to have come out of his race well but always hard to tell when running a horse back so soon after running their last one.  The race looks a typically competitive sprint for the venue.

The second of the pair running today is Silently. She will be running at 5.45 at Wolverhampton. Robert Winston will be riding the  mare in the 6 furlong classified stakes. Has been tricky to train but has the ability to win a contest such as this but far from consistent – looking for the blinkers to have a positive effect.
