Thoughts on Today’s Runners

Arishka runs in the 2:45 at Chelmsford. Kieran O’Neill rides the filly in the six furlong handicap. She was caught very late on last time at Newcastle when finishing second and hopefully the sharper trap will be perfect. This is last minute meeting put on to cover jumping abandonments so is pretty quick back for the filly.

The main dangers look to be Grandee Daisy a previous winner on her only attempt at six furlongs. Amor Kethley who should be better suited now that she switches to handicaps. Farol could be another improver on her first run for a while having run creditably in novice races at 2.

Arishka will be led up by James Pulley and Travelling Manager Shaun Johnson.

Dawn Commando goes in the 4:45 at Kempton. Callum Shepherd is booked for his first ride for the yard. He drops back to seven furlongs for the first time, he’s been disappointing to date on the track and never really managed to see his races out all of which have been over further.

This is a pretty open race and with what would have been a very short priced favourite now a non runner it’s anyone’s race. Satchville Flyer, Dodgy Bob and Dalness Express would have the most obvious claims having run well of late. Little Miss Kodi has some appeal as well and won a stronger looking contest here in November.

Dawn Commando will be led up by Ilse Belien and Office Manager Grace Stephens.

Our owners get more in depth analysis and discussion on tactics, if this is something that appeals take a look at the for sale page for opportunities to get involved. We have some great value options in quality horses at present.

It took a lot of shovelling to get the box out this morning so a big thank you to all the team for getting stuck in
