Thoughts on Today’s Runners

We have two runners headed to Chelmsford this evening. First up is Chitra in the 6.30pm handicap. Richard Kingscote, who has steered the filly to victory on her last two starts, is in the irons for the five furlong race.

Chitra was bred and is owned by Gary and Lesley Middlebrook and will be led up by Andy Williams. The filly is by Sea The Moon, out of Sharmadal mare, Persian Star.

Our second runner of the evening is Castelo in the 8.00pm handicap. Richard Kingscote is aboard the filly for the first time as she tackles 10 furlongs once again. She has drawn wide in stall 13 and has a change of headgear in blinkers.

Castelo will be led up by Andy Williams, who is her regular rider at home. The filly is owned by the Diskovery Partnership and was bred by Lynn Lodge Stud. She is by Casamento, out of Generous mare, Fortress.
