Thoughts on today’s runners

Two runners again today (Wednesday 22nd June). First up is Forest Demon heads to Salisbury for the Maiden at 1.45pm and Seneca Chief goes to Bath for a 5f Handicap.

Forest Demon

Forest Demon makes his debut on the track today under Rob Hornby. He is likeable colt, who moves well. Our two year olds have all needed the experience first time out.

An open looking maiden with very little form to go. Those that have run would all need to take quite a step forward to win.

Forest Demon runs in the colours of owners Capture The Moment IX. He will be led up by James Pulley who cares for him daily at home.

Seneca Chief

Seneca Chief will be ridden by Liam Keniry. He showed more in first time cheekpieces last time out, having been a bit lacklustre on his previous couple of starts. He should find the stiff five furlongs to his liking and the only real negative is the slightly wide draw. The drop in grade should help his chances.

An open looking race with a bunch of fairly exposed handicappers. Pop Dancer isn’t always consistent but a good run would see him go well. Symbol of Hope is a course winner who can be involved, Delagate This Lord was in behind Seneca Chief last time but wasn’t well drawn that day.

Seneca Chief runs in the colours of owner/breeders Gary & Lesley Middlebrook. He will be led up by Tamsin Karn.
