Thoughts on today’s runners at Yarmouth

Again both runners today have ended up in the same race, not much between them on their homework and they are priced up as second and third favourite so both deserve their chance to shed their maiden status in the 6.10.

Nuncio – 6.10 Yarmouth, Josephine Gordon

Has been placed on four out five starts since joining the yard and has the highest rating of any horse in the race. Six furlongs is on the sharp side for him but plenty of his form is over the sharp seven furlongs at Lingfield so he should have enough pace to be of interest in this company.

Silently – 6.10 Yarmouth, George Downing

Made an encouraging return to action when second at Windsor eight days ago whens staying on nicely over five furlongs and has come out of the race well and should be competitive here.

Seysah looks to be the one that sets the standard to beat having finished runner up off her mark of 64 and 65 in her last two starts in fairly ordinary fillies handicaps. The times of both races were good for the grade. Miami Sunset drops back after a solid enough debut over a mile back in February and is the most likely of the unexposed horses.
