Thought’s on today’s runners – Sunday

We send out two runners today, Evening Story makes the journey up to Pontefract where she will line up in the 2.55pm under Ben Curtis. Lil Guff makes a quick turnaround from her last race to run at Sandown at 4.15pm where Oisin Murphy takes the ride.

Evening Story returns to a mile having made a pleasing reappearance over seven furlongs last week. Its a little bit quick back for a filly but this looked a very good opportunity for her to break her maiden and she’s a fairly hardy sort.

Lil Guff

Lil Guff bounced back to from on quick ground at Windsor in a valuable racing league contest to be second and is having a good season, with two wins on the board already. A very quick turn around which is always a bit of a guessing game.

Great prize money on offer and a very open looking race. Veteran Arecibo drops in class and looks well drawn. Be Proud is in good heart and Get It it is another who ran very well in a racing league race last time.
