Thoughts on Trinity River at Windsor today

Trinity River runs in the 4.50 at Windsor today (October 7th). James Doyle partners her for the first time in the 5 furlong nursery. Trinity River has been pretty consistent all season and deserves to get her head in front again. She ran a good race last time out when finishing third at Lingfield. Arguably her best piece of form was over today’s course and distance and as long as the ground is quick enough which it ought to be she should run another good race.

There ought not to be to many surprises in this field most of them having run a few times and the likely favourite Bounty Hunter looks worthy of that position and is probably the horse to beat. If the break has benefitted Iseemist she may be better suited by this drop to more realistic level of company. Touch the Clouds is another who has been plying his trade at a higher grade who may benefit from the drop in grade, he does have the scalp of a subsequent Listed winner when last seen at this level.
