Thoughts on Trinity River’s Chances at York

Trinity River has her second start in the 1.50 at York (Friday 12th of July).  Graham Lee takes the ride in the 5 furlong maiden. Trinity River has always shown potential at home and ran a good race first time out once she got the idea in the final couple of furlongs. She finished ahead of several rivals who had already shown a reasonable level of form and should improve plenty for the experience. She is well in herself at home and although she is taking on the colts we hope she can put in a bold showing with her weight allowance.

Royal Mezyan sets a pretty high standard, based on his three racecourse appearances to date and will be tough to beat, his trainer was very confident when we spoke to him. He ran sixth in the Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot so is clearly a talented individual.  Noble Asset was an expensive breeze up purchase who has some fancy entries and could rate a danger. Dream Sika ought to be suite by the drop back to five furlongs and Birkacre should improve for his debut experience.
