Thoughts on Tuesday’s runners

Two runners today (Tuesday 2nd May). First up is, City Cyclone runs at Nottingham in the 2.40pm under Richard Kingscote. Moondial runs at Wolverhampton in the 8.10pm with Jason Hart in the saddle.

City Cyclone

City Cyclone made a solid enough start to his season at Lingfield. He was just getting tapped for a turn of foot around Lingfield. He should prefer the more galloping track here at Nottingham and make a step forward for that run.

City Cyclone and Tamsin

This looks a pretty open contest with not much on paper between, City Cyclone, Maso Bastie, Going to the Moon and Artisand. Tempered Soul looked as if the extra distance would be a plus. He wouldn’t have to improve a lot for his debut to enter consideration either.

City Cyclone runs for owners Wayne Clifford and Ian Gosden and will be led up by Ilse Belien.

Moondial

Moondial was solid on her seasonal reappearance to be third at Kempton. She is well drawn and should once again run her race.

Moondial

This looks pretty open contest, She’s a Mirage is probably the biggest danger on her best runs. Alaskan might benefit from the extra furlong. Handicap debutantes Zoukster and Bodega Nights are other possible dangers if improving dropped into this more realistic company.

Moondial runs in the colours of her owners Diskovery Partnership X and will be led up by Natalie Jankiewicz who cares for her daily at home.
