Thoughts on two runners today
Harry’s Endeavour is our first runner of the day at Chepstow in the 5.35. Josephine Gordon has her first ride for the yard in the apprentice handicap. Harry has been fairly consistent all season with several placed efforts since his victory at Bath. He perhaps hasn’t been quite as effective as we’d hoped over slightly further on his last couple of starts. He is in good form at home and can hopefully be competitive once again.
Lady Blanco looks the filly that they have to beat in an open looking handicap and has good apprentice jockey on board too. Fandango and File of Facts have been running consistently and are also horses to note.
Bubble Bath makes her second career start at Kempton in the 6.40. Royston Ffrench rides the filly in the 7 furlong maiden. Her debut was full of promise and the extra furlong looked sure to suit. She’s a lovely filly and should have a good future ahead of her.
Todays race is a bit tougher than her first trip to the races Magical Forest and Highland Lotus set some sort of a standard but the less experienced runners are the more likely to pose the biggest dangers granted normal improvment. Masonic and Tohnatu both shaped well on debut whilst Sir Dancelot looked to be getting the hang of things late on in a decent race and might be another to go significantly better this time around.
