Thoughts on Who’sthedaddy at Salisbury

Who’sthedaddy runs in the 8.30 at Salisbury this evening (Saturday July 11th). Tom Queally takes the ride in the ten furlong handicap. Who’sthedaddy ran a solid race on his first start of the season at Bath finishing second ahead of two last time out winners. He followed it up with a moderate effort next time out at Newcastle with no obvious explanation, the rain softened ground might have been against him but the surface was no worse than good. He steps up in trip, something we’ve always felt would be to his advantage as both his dam and half brother were effective over this trip.

The race is quite open, a couple of the handicap debutants could pose a threat but its a real guess as to which one therefore the main contenders will probably be; Rum Swizzle, second in her two starts most recent at a similar level and Dusky Diva who was second on handicap debut and didn’t get much luck next time out.
