Thoughts on Who’sthedaddy at Wolverhampton
Who’sthedaddy runs int he 7.40 at Wolverhampton this evening. Tom Queally rides the gelding in the mile and one and a half a furlong handicap. Who’sthedaddy made a pleasing enough return to action in an apprentice race last week. From a poor draw he was given a lovely ride by our apprentice Kimberley Van Der Vegt and was just found out a bit by the shorter trip. Back to a trip that should be ideal for him he has come out of the race well, is well drawn and should have no trouble on the surface. The only slight question would be that Who’sthedaddy has been a little inconsistent in the past.
The race looks competitive with several in form horses coming to the table. Tangramm has won his last two, including a course and distance affair at this track. Beaten just a head that day was Call Me Crockett. Equeleus is another recent winner, when wearing cheek pieces for the first time, which he retains for this race. The trip may be a question for him.
