Thoughts on Wild Saffron

Wild Saffron is our sole runner today, she is set to line up in the 4.45pm contest at Chelmsford with Josephone Gordon in the saddle.

Wild Saffron missed the break badly on debut and as a result probably didn’t learn a great deal. Much sharper on her second start she took a good step forward although still showing some inexperience. Hopefully she can continue her progress.

Not much previous form to go on, Super Hit and Post Rider the only obvious candidates on that front.

Wild Saffron runs in the colours of owners Gary and Lesley Middlebrook who also bred the filly. She will be led up by Epona Miller who cares for her daily at home.
