Thoughts on Zulu Girl
Zulu Girl heads to Chepstow this afternoon for the 1.45. Dylan Hogan is in the irons for the one mile handicap. The pair are drawn in stall 2, which isn’t always ideal. Her last run over course and distance probably came too soon for her after a good win at Brighton the the time before.
The three year olds look the ones with most improvement in them. Fetna who is dropping back in trip and Sienna Breeze stepping up in trip make their handicap debuts today, for both the move looks the right one. Roman Mist is dangerous, having been placed on all her starts over this distance, including a narrow margin win over Mary Puy. Gert Lush probably sets the standard against the older horses.
Zulu Girl is by Lethal Force, out of the Diktat mare, Upskittled. She is owned by Trish and Colin Fletcher-Hall. Zulu Girl will be led up by Ilse Belien, who cares for her at home, and overseen by Shaun Johnson.
