Thought’s on Zulu Girl

Zulu Girl heads to Brighton to defend the Brighton Mile Challenge Trophy. Dylan Hogan is aboard for race which is due off at 3.40

The mare has an outstanding course and distance record, including winning again here earlier this season. She has been a bit inconsistent this season aside from that win, but found the drop back to seven furlongs unsuitable last time and so that run is definitely best excsued.

The Brighton Challenge Mile Trophy

This is really interesting race, Brighton is definitely a course for specialists. Zulu Girl is not the only former winner with in 2019 De Vegas Kid took the trophy home. However it is the progressive Covex Kid who won here last time out who looks the one to beat. Granary Queen is great form. She was a winner here over seven furlongs earlier in the season and a won last time out too. She has won over a mile in the past but seems best at seven.

Zulu Girl runs in the colours of owners Trish and Colin Fletcher-Hall and will be led up by Ilse Belien who cares for her daily at home. Zulu Girl arrived at Sarsen Farm without a win to her name, she flourished and progressed with our approach.
