Thurdays Runners- Royal Ascot & Wolverhampton

ROYAL ASCOT

PERCY’S LAD is our third runner this week heading to Royal Ascot on Thursday 20th June. He lines up in ever competitive Buckingham Palace Stakes at 6.15pm, a class two handicap over seven furlongs. Percy’s Lad will be ridden by Richard Kingscote, who knows this gelding very well. So far this partnership have had a brilliant start to the season together, including winning at Chester’s prestigious May meeting last time out.

Percy’s Lad runs in the colours of owner Alan Kerr and he was purchased as a horse in training by Daniel & Claire for his owner for £30,000 as a Horse in Training. He has provided his owner with some great days racing and continues to run at the major meetings throughout the season, today will be his third trip to Royal Ascot. Percy’s Lad will be led up by Sammy Barnett who cares for him daily at home and this gelding is ridden in his daily exercise by Alex Swinwood.

WOLVERHAMPTON

This evening we also head to Wolverhampton with two runners. EXPERT ELSA and SUSTAINED are both lining up for their first racecourse appearance in the 6.35pm, a restricted maiden stakes over seven furlongs. Ross Coakley will be riding the filly EXPERT ELSA and Dylan Hogan will be in the saddle on SUSTAINED.

EXPERT ELSA

Expert Elsa runs for owners Alex Frost and Julia Lukas. This daughter of Expert Eye will be led up today by Tamsin Karn who cares for her daily at home.

SUSTAINED

Sustained runs in the colours of our in house partnership Diskovery XI. He will be led up this evening by James Pulley and is cared for daily at home by Natalie Jankiewicz.
