Trinity River steps up in grade.

Trinity River runs in the 3.55 at Newbury tomorrow. Thomas Brown is reunited with the filly in the five furlong listed race. Trinity River broke her maiden in facile fashion at Wolverhampton on Monday. The race has taken very little out of her so we decided to give her a shot at black type, it’s a big ask. However this is the last opportunity for two year old fillies to race for black type against their own sex! A ridiculous state of affairs and a massive hole in the program.

The race is competitive with Windfire the most obvious horse but she didn’t have much of an excuse last time out and it maybe that a more progressive filly is able to best her. Lilbourne Lass has done very little wrong in her career and keeps improving and could be a big danger, Reroute has some good form in the book too and this is easier than recent assignments.
