Wednesdays Royal Ascot Runner

Ciara Pearl is our second runner this week that heads to Royal Ascot on Wednesday 19th June. This filly lines up in the 5.40pm Kensington Palace Stakes, a class two fillies’ handicap over 1 mile. Her low weight in this race provides a very exciting opportunity for the young talented jockey Jack Doughty, who will be in the saddle and also taking a handy 5lbs off. Last year Don’t Tell Claire finished second in this race for the team and today Ciara Pearl runs in the same silks, hoping to go that one place better.

Ciara Pearl runs in the colours of owner Andrew Stonehill. She will be led up today by Arla-Jade Cheshire who rides and cares for this filly daily at home and will be overseen by travelling manager Shaun Johnson.
