Winner – Bowland Park

Bowland Park notched his second win of the season yesterday afternoon in the 1.50 at Haydock Park. Ridden by Jack Mitchell the 3 year old gelding was recording his second win in quick succession and his third in total from just seven career starts. Always sitting near the pace, Bowland Park was able to handle the soft underfoot conditions and battled on bravely when challenged by runner up Yorkshire Lady. Eventually coming out on top comfortably by a length with a further three back to third place.

Back on the winning trail Bowland Park deserves a chance in some better quality races and could well be aimed at a 3 year old handicap at the York Ebor meeting. He continues the great run of the team who have sent out 6 winners from the last 16 runners. Its a credit to all the hard work that they have put in and we are delighted that the results are reflecting that.

Bowland Park is owned by Gary & Lesley Middlebrook who bred the gelding as well. He was led up by Michael Coles who cared for him at home.
