Winner – Helm Rock

Helm Rock notched his second career victory on just his fifth career start over a mile at Carlisle yesterday evening. The three year old gelding was recording his second win in ten days and is developing nicely. Sent off the 4/7 favourite he saw off his rivals with relative ease. Jockey James Sullivan keeping him up to his work without having to ever give him a full drive to score by a comfortable length and a half from Iron Sheriff.

Congratulations to his owners who look to have an exciting prospect on their hands. We look to have plenty of options as having won over seven furlongs last time out he had no problem with the mile this time and even hinted that he may stay further in due course. His dam and most of her family stayed a mile and half well. He does hold an entry at Yarmouth on Tuesday but we will look at our options as that is a pretty quick turn around.

Capture the Moment was bought as a yearling at Tattersalls Book One in Newmarket by Daniel & Claire, he was bred by Anita Wigan and raised by James Read of Selwood Bloodstock before being sold as a foal to Lynn Lodge Stud. Thanks as ever to the hard working team at Sarsen Farm who have all played a part in the development of this exciting horse.

Helm Rock races for Capture The Moment, a syndicate managed and run by Daniel & Claire. Each horse has a separate partnership with a small group of owners sharing the excitement together. This season Outrage has already won twice this season for his owners and Liberty Warrior made a very promising start to his career last week on his debut at Bath.
