Winner – Lil Guff

Lil Guff notched her second win in seven days. This time around the game filly was under William Buick at Sandown. Breaking well she sat just behind the leader and hit the front around a furlong out, holding off the fast closing What’s in the bag late on in the five furlong contest.

Congratulations to her successful owners Wayne & Sarah Clifford who also bred the filly at their Byerley Stud. Their filly has proved versatile recording her six wins under five different jockeys at six different tracks on ground ranging from soft to firm!

Looking ahead she may run again next Saturday at Haydock Park in a fillies handicap. She will face a rise in class thereafter and perhaps the fillies sprint handicap at Glorious Goodwood is an interesting option for her.
