Winner – Moondial
Moondial won on Sunday at Salisbury. The three year old filly has had a good season so far, finishing placed on all her starts to date this year. The win was the second of her career. She was given a good ride by Alex Jary in this apprentice race. Sitting just behind a strongish pace, Alex did a good job keeping the filly balanced and travelling well. She took up the running quite a long way out and although there were several rivals looming two furlongs out, most cracked, with just Boom Boom Pow pushing her all the way to the line.

Congratulations to all the members of the Diskovery Partnership X. It was great to have so many people together on the course to celebrate the win. The Diskovery Partnership is made up of 5 & 10% shares and we will be looking to purchase a yearling in September to launch the next one, so do get in touch if you’d like to be involved in this fun partnership.

Looking forward we will see how the filly recovers from the race but a win in an apprentice race means that she would not be subject to a penalty so it may be worth turning her out soon. The race falling on a Sunday means we have until Friday the 30th to find a suitable opportunity. One option is a seven furlong race at Kempton, where she won as a two year old.
Thank you to all the team for their hard preparing the horses to run so consistently on the track.
