Winner – Outgate

Outgate continued his development with an impressive win on Ladies Day at the Chester May Festival. Ryan Moore was aboard the three year old colt as he travelled just behind the leaders from stall one. As they tired he quickened through the gap to record his third career win from seven starts. He runs in the colours of Gary & Lesley Middlebrook and was bred and raised at their Wood Farm Stud.

He is an exciting horse to have in the yard and will be aimed at more of the valuable handicaps at the bigger meetings in the coming months. Possible options include; the Silver Bowl at Haydock at the end of May and a valuable handicap in June back at Chester. He could develop into a horse for the Britannia Stakes at Royal Ascot.
