Winner – Siempre Arturo
Siempre Arturo shed his maiden tag in impressive style on just his second visit to the racecourse. Jack Mitchell was aboard the gelding who had tuck in behind from a wide draw. He had to make his move widest of all as those towards the front of the field came under pressure around the final bend of the ten furlong race. He moved past the field with relatively ease and still looked raw when hitting the front. Nonetheless he finished a comfortable four lengths clear of his rivals.
Congratulations to owners Crowd Racing & Viv O’Sullivan. Viv also bred the three year old gelding. He is out of La Donacella who has also produced Glam Puss who won for the yard.
As ever thanks to team, whose horsemanship was the making of this youngster. He was fairly challenging in his early days. He arrived as an unbacked three year old and is a big strong chap, however as the year has progressed he has developed into a lovely mannered horses. He has a big frame and should strengthen and stay further as a four year old. He will likely run at least once more on the all weather this winter and we will make further plans then.
If you would like to enter the winners enclosure we have some really exciting yearlings who are developing nicely in their early training. We are really looking forward to unleashing them in 2024. Get in touch for details.
