Winners Andaleep & Forest Demon

A fantastic day on Tuesday as the team notched a double.

Andaleep got the ball rolling in the 4.10 at Beverley, turning out quickly following his win on Sunday the gelding never really looked in any danger under Ben Curtis. The gelding has now won three times since joining us at the end of May. He has been second twice and third once in his six runs. Sarsen Farm has definitely seen the six year old finding his love for the game. Congratulations to owner James Finch. Well done to his groom Shannon Passotti who cares for him.

Andaleep holds a few entries in the next few days and we will have to see how he is looking before deciding where he makes his hat-trick bid. An alternative is to wait for the valuable Sunday Series Apprentice race next Sunday.

Forest Demon won the 5.05 at Kempton under Richard Kingscote. The two year old colt was opening his account on his first run in handicap company. The colt who runs for Capture the Moment a partnership run by Daniel & Claire was a yearling purchase from Tattersalls Ireland. He still doesn’t look the finished article, and would probably benefit from being gelded in due course. An extra furlong will certainly see him to better effect. As a three year old he should probably stay ten furlongs. There is certainly a lot to look forward to for his owners. Well done to his groom James Pulley who cares for him.
